昨天搞了Salathe

试试Aid了Salathe的前三段，我Aid很不熟练，虽然尽量top-stepping，还是搞了5个小时。。。 不过第三段有个屋檐（11d/C1) 很有意思. 回头发点照片。

五小时搞三段不错了。

第一段150feet，主要finger和pin scar，大家都后悔没有买点hybrid alien，第二段很短60feet，几乎全是3inch，只能leapfrog，很快搞定，第三段90feet，起步向右屋檐，有个yellow tcu的位置，然后fixed pin，之后巨远有两个fixed wire在一起，我开始在中间找到了一个purple tcu, 但一踩就pop了，只好用芭蕾动作clip了fixed wire，正高兴着，定睛一看，一个wire已经分岔爆开了，另一个看起来也是一个时期的，只好轻轻测试一下，硬着头皮上。转出屋檐，发现一个blue tcu placement, 但是只能从上方才能看到placement，于是使劲测试一下后继续上。过了之后就简单了多了。之后free了几个动作，进入一个flared squeeze chimney. 在那儿折腾了很久。主要是身上gear不好腾挪，只能上上下下磨，终于一个topstep挤出去，但却把一个从下方放入的purple mastercam带起来卡住了，此处又浪费15分钟，退下去敲打半天才搞定。然后Aid/Free最后30feet。

总结一下，像这样大部分gear很好的C1线应该争取把时间缩短到平均一段花1个半小时之内

hybrid alien专门是为了Yosemite的pin scar设计的，您老怎么能不置一套？

Sam(in the lower right corner) started traversing to Sickle Ledge (end of 4th pitch of nose). At that point, they should bail and turn back, but they decided to keep going.They ended up climbing/rapping in dark for 3 hours. (rope stuck when following pendulum/can't find anchor bolts), and Paul and I have to wait for them in woods with all our warm clothes locked in Sam's car.
But we wre all gald to see they came back safe.

很多条经典线路中的一条，按Robbins的说法，The Salathe Wall is El Cap's most natural line and possibly "the greatest rock climb in the world."

en, 很大一陀，镜头广角形变很厉害，nose整个上半部是仰角，起步有一个4th class台阶，然后可能80%左右，逐渐变陡。
